The Call Duck is a small domestic breed, originally developed in Europe, and is one of the most popular ornamental ducks in collections. Known for their compact size, short bills, and wide variety of colours, they are also highly valued as show birds, with many classes and standards dedicated to them. Call Ducks reach breeding age from about 1 year and usually nest readily in boxes or sheltered spots, laying 8–12 eggs which hatch after 26–27 days. Ducklings are strong and quick to grow, though their small size means they need some extra care when young. Hardy, friendly, and easy to manage, Call Ducks are an excellent choice for both ornamental keeping and exhibition.
Our lines are all from top show breeder John Soper who has helped us establish our 3 lines of White, Butterscotch and Bibbed.
